Lady in Labor Still Gets Traffic Ticket by Police
A Massachusetts State Police Officer stopped a man for driving in the breakdown lane. He was on his way to the hospital with his wife who was in labor. Her contractions were three minutes apart. The Boston highway was gridlocked and his only option at the time was to drive in the breakdown lane.
The police stopped him and had him and his expecting wife wait 10 minutes while he issued another ticket to another driver. He returned and asked to see the wife’s belly to confirm her pregnancy. He then issued him a ticket. The couple finally arrived at the hospital and the baby was delivered four hours alter.
The father has decided to appeal his traffic ticket due to the emergency situation. As Reported by: SFGate.com.
